kelp in Tasmania?

Is there kelp in Tasmania? I have marked it a few times, but I think those were questionable as they did not have the same characteristics as CA kelp. Some were at the mouths of rivers so they were probably some other kind of algae. Is the Tasmania site just replication for your study in the S hemisphere? Or, am I missing kelp there? I noticed that often the ocean looks a darker shade in the photos, so maybe the kelp is harder to see?

Oh, I saw a post by another participant who said that he saw kelp there 40 years ago! I hope there is still some left.
