The US TV show Ocean Mysteries showed the kelp forest from below as they were diving to look for Octopus and other mulit-legged critters hiding around and in it. They gave several fact loaded sentences about the kelp and its importance in the ecosystem. The video of them diving in the forest was quite lovely. This is a show hosted by Jeff Corwin. He always does a nice and inclusive yet understandable job of explaining the topics he covers. It was a Pacific Ocean adventure. And yes, it is children's TV, but some of these Saturday morning education programs have a lot to offer. As the name says, educational TV.
