I live in Santa Cruz CA , I thought some local stories may be of interest to this project. Which I read before I even heard of this project. also more local this one. http://www.santacruzsentinel.com/ci_23312400/cowell-beach-near-top-bad-beaches. They were at one time blaming the Kelp for the problem. If you have any News stories on Kelp please share them here. LIZ
