Difference between small land masses and kelp

How do I know the difference between kelp and smaller islands or cays. I marked a few areas as kelp, but following images showed areas that were small land masses but looked just like kelp. Hints?

The best way to make sure is opening the map of the location in a new browser tab and compare it with the green shape (you can do it by clicking on the coordinates just above the picture you're classifying).
