Lovely blue mountain

When I saw this picture I was surprised by the lovely blue on the mountain. What creates this color ? are they flowers ? Minerals ?

It's snow/ice.
It looks bright blue because the images are not made using the same wavelengths we see at, they use infrared and visual because it makes vegetation, including kelp, stand out more. Ice absorbs a lot of short wave IR, but reflects in the visual, so with this band combination it looks bright blue.
