River algae?

  Should we be trying to ID river algae? Pretty narrow. most of them.

  I'm not a scientist but I would say that you probably shouldn't, because the project is looking for kelp, so the algae would throw them off.

  Hi, We are only trying to ID giant kelp right now. Good eye though!
