  curious as to why the California images seems to be no further north than Santa Barbara. I'm about an hour north of Santa Cruz and on the drive along the coast can see kelp beds and around Monterey certainly there's large beds.....thanks

  We're looking at the coast in sections, the current California data ranges from about Santa Barbara to San Diego. Once we've looked at all the data we have for the area, we'll take a look at another section of coast.
