Kelp Talk
The ocean is always black around Tasmania in these images. Does that affect the visibility of kelp?
If that bright green was in the ocean instead of on land, I might think it was kelp.
In this case, I suspect speckles are glitches, mainly because of similar speckles in red and blue within an area with linear boundaries.
I use latitude to confirm my guesses.
I guess now that I look again it isn't that nice deep Forrest green. More like a light yellow green mixed with golden brown.
Yeah. It is.
The colorful confetti glitches remind me of Christmas lights on that nice green Tasmanian back ground.
California has irrigation. Some parts are green.
I seem to be getting a lot of those lately.
Maybe even a kiwi bird looking toward NZ if this is oriented how I imagine it.
I see a green turtle crawling out of the clouds down left.
More of that green right up against the shore. That isn't what California kelp looks like, at least usually it is farther out.
I don't know if that is kelp.
I'm not really sure if that is kelp right along the shore.
That little island in the corner reminds me of a dragon or inch worm, or some kin d of caterpillar.
This is one of the rare images where I failed my guessing game. Usually I can tell if it is Tazmania or California at first glance.
Petty sure there's no kelp there.
That is interesting vortex info.
Pretty clouds.
Nice fringe of waves along the shore.
It looks a little greenish, but too dark to know what is really there.
I don't see kelp, but it is an interesting image. I am curious about the shapes that look like walls and buildings but are so green.
Like a wooly blanket
Yep, that looks like a dragon.
I see it!
Yep, that one is very California.
I think those are clouds...
Is this a picture of a Tasmanian tiger that just blew out its birthday candles?
Interesting image. Maybe kelp. Maybe not kelp.
I'm pretty sure those are slightly blurry little islands and not dense kelp forests.
Is that kelp in the lagoon?
Reminds me of a little Florida.
The lake on the right reminds me of a crow.
Wow! There are a lot of different green swirls on there, but I don't know if any of them are kelp.
Kelp! A little bit.
Cool.
I think those are clouds.
Pretty snow. Some parts of California get some snow sometimes.
Now that I look more closely, I'm not really sure if it is clouds or snow, but it isn't a good image anyway for kelp.
Yeah, maybe...
I almost circled the blue, but kelp isn't suposed to be blue. I wonder what it is.
This is pretty dark. I don't know if kelp would show if present.
I don't know if there is kelp, but it might be easier to tell if it was a bit lighter.
Boats?
Are those small green islands?
😃
I think this is my kelpiest the image yet.
Probably nice sandy beaches, and lots of nice green.
I don't think I see kelp. I think I see waves breaking on beaches and rocks. I think they have had some landslides or erosion too.
I think those are thin clouds, but maybe it could be kelp that look less green because of dim light, or waves breaking.
I think I see evidence of landslides, and maybe burned places.
Pretty
Looks like an airport
Cool, I only did california before I got to this set.
That one fainter blob is out farther than most I have seen from land.
I don't see kelp, but it looks like a nice place to visit or live.
So, this is around Tasmania?
Con trail?
So, I am guessing we don't need to mark clouds if it is clear that there is land under the whole image. Is that right?
Cool. I mean, cold.
This could be clouds over the ocean, but it looks more like ble sky.
Boat? Near middle of lower edge.
My first good image that I clicked talk on before it escaped. I am new at this but so far it seams pretty easy and kinda fun.
Another comb for the beachcombers.
Kinda nice little popcorn clouds.
Hmm, kinda pretty.
Wow! That does dot look like kelp or clouds or clean or land... Interesting, though.
All cottony clouds. We will have to look at this site some other day to see if there is any kelp.
