Am I seeing shadows from the clouds... or is it kelp ?? i find this sort of image difficult.

am I imagining or not..darker shadows rather than the green..but under differing conditions etc.. any advice?

Here - the faint green marks alongside many of the waves are only colouration ?? not kelp??

some small patches near the coast..but what about the faint shadows over a large area..are these kelp? or simply the water??
