Hi, copied co-ords as tip in Blog to Google, zoomed into coastal area, panned & looked at Kelp and then saw area i.e. map will be different.
AKP002lgt - in Google Images why are some areas of kelp Olive-green and some dark red-brown. Are they different species of Kelp?
Hope this link works (this is what I meant by olivegreen&red-brown) https://www.google.com/maps/@33.394252,-117.6161377,555m/data=!3m1!1e3
Thanks, TomBell:) - is it possible to identify different Kelp species like Macrocystis just by looking at true colour Google images?
Sorry, Reddish-brown but dark in colour, not blood red or slightly red. Don't know a Synonym, English is my Second Language.
